The Purpose
Los Gatos Art & Wine Festival is not just a music festival with great wine and art, it's an opportunity to escape, connect, and be inspired. This year we are super excited to continue our "Sustainable Living Zone", where our sponsors will be sharing how, where and why you should embrace sustainability as a lifestyle. Get inspired: be green, be happy, be healthy!
The Story
Los Gatos Art & Wine Festival is run by the Los Gatos Kiwanis Club, with the idea of bringing people together through the power of music, love of art, and all things good. It's a way for everyone to have fun, while knowing that every cent spent goes right back into the community to help youth programs near and far!
Today, our festival has become one of the most anticipated events of the year in Los Gatos and the surrounding neighborhoods within Silicon Valley. Consistently winning "Best of Los Gatos" and "Best of Silicon Valley" with the Metro News and the Los Gatan, as well as the Los Gatos Weekly Times (SJ Merc). It's even been featured on KTVU's morning show, and is generally known as a cool, iconic event.
The SLZ will be anchored by Silicon Valley Clean Energy, with their brand new state-of-the-art "home", and featuring e-bikes, solar energy company Cinnamon Energy, Spare The Air, and Farm Fresh To You. We will also have a "Green Lounge" with innovative ideas and workshops, where the local high school Key Clubs will be presenting tips & ideas to live sustainably, while raising money for Pediatric Trauma Programs at children's hospitals in our region. The elementary school K-Kids Leadership Club will be upcycling books to advance literacy with a "bring a book/take a book" event.
In case you were wondering, we are doubling down on this whole concept and we only partner with vintners who practice sustainability: Gali Vineyards, Armitage Wines and Testarossa will be our Sponsoring Vintners this year. "Go local, go sustainable, or go home!"
