In keeping with our innovative, forward thinking style, we have expanded the weekend long event to include an entirely new section devoted solely to green and sustainable organizations, products and innovations. Anchored by one of our fabulous sponsors, Silicon Valley Clean Energy, they will have their brand new state-of-the-art home to showcase sustainability in its finest form! International Award from Kiwanis
To top off the whole year, our event was chosen to represent all of California, Hawaii and Nevada in the 2023-2024 Kiwanis International Signature Project Competition! This contest draws Kiwanis Clubs around the globe to compete for the honor - projects such as Special Games for specially-abled kids in Silicon Valley, Centers for Autism in Malaysia and more. Why was an art & wine festival chosen, you might ask? It's because of the sense of community, the involvement of all age-levels of volunteers, the coming together of a committed group of people who simply want to do good in the community and beyond. The kids (High School Key Clubs) raise money & awareness for Pediatric Trauma Programs, local food banks & regional disaster relief, while the adults (Kiwanis Club of Los Gatos) raise money to support local youth programs. From Special Games to scholarships for at-risk youth, student-run leadership & community service clubs at the local schools and everything in between. It's an all-volunteer run event and EVERY SINGLE PENNY goes back into the community to help kids.

Nestled in the foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountains and on the edge of Silicon Valley...20 minutes to the beach...2 minutes to the closest winery...walking distance to fantastic restaurants...not to mention excellent shopping, people watching, farmers markets and more...Los Gatos is a great place to live and a wonderful place to visit.
Los Gatos has charm and is just as close to the heart of Silicon Valley as its competition up the peninsula (Palo Alto) but is closer to the coast and Monterey/Carmel. There are numerous world class wineries nearby, not to mention great sports teams (San Jose Sharks Hockey, 49ers Football, SJ Earthquakes) - all that, and only 1 hour to downtown San Francisco. Los Gatos even has a nationally reknowned bicyling club (LGBRC) and the Cat's Hill Classic is an annual event where the likes of Greg LeMond and Davis Phinney have raced. It is also home to the oldest Children's Christmas Parade in the country! And, on top of all of that, Joe DiMaggio and Marilyn Monroe stayed here right after they were married in San Francisco! (...and yes, they stayed in the Garden Inn, right next door to our event!)
